Seems like the West Coast rap scene has lost one of their own:
Long Beach rapper Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel Hale, known for his low-toned hooks on numerous popular hits, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, his family announced.
The cause of death for the 41-year-old artist has not yet been specified, but he did suffer two strokes in the past, in 2007 and 2008. After the 2007 stroke, the left side of his body was temporarily paralyzed, and then he suffered his second stroke almost a year later, which he had undergone long-term therapy for.
Wow, so young. He will be missed. R.I.P Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Hale.
